From all of us at the ACRF Image X Institute, we’d like to thank you for donating to the Remove the Mask project. We received tremendous community support for this project and many messages of encouragement from patients and patient groups. Your donation has enabled us to purchase equipment for our researchers to use to develop the first prototype. The software is being developed by our software engineer Kuldeep, and the prototype is being assembled at Blacktown Hospital. The development in a clinical environment means that we can directly interact with head and neck cancer patients and health care professionals to best guide the development of the Remove the Mask technology. This work wouldn’t be underway without your help. We’re proud to be removing the mask with funds raised in memory and in honour of loved ones who have endured cancer.
